WATCH: ‘2gether’ star Bright of Thailand covers Eraserheads’ ‘With a Smile’

Thai Boys’ Love (BL) series “2gether” star Vachirawit Chiva-aree, more popularly known as Bright, is treating Filipino fans with the cover of a classic OPM song.
The Thai actor lent his voice for Eraserheads hit “With a Smile,” which is set to be the theme song for the local airing of “2gether: The Series” sequel, titled “(Still) 2gether: The Series.”
The rendition of Bright, who plays Sarawat in the BL series, was posted on ABS-CBN Star Music’s YouTube channel yesterday, July 31.
Bright’s performance comes as “(Still) 2gether” nears its slated premiere date of Aug. 14 via streaming platform iWant.
ABS-CBN production arm Dreamscape Entertainment currently has a partnership with Thai production company GMMTV, allowing the former to air the latter’s show.
The popularity of the first “2gether” series in the country paved the way for the rise of several locally produced BL series including Juan Miguel Severo’s “Boys’ Love,” IdeaFirst’s “Gameboys” and Black Sheep’s “Hello Stranger.” /ra
