Isabelle Daza made an animated children’s story to help explain the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic to her son Balthazar.

The video, which was about three minutes long, was posted by the actress on her Facebook page earlier today, April 20.

“This is what I call an animated book,” she added.

The story focuses on a tiger named Tralala and his fellow animal friends who cannot play together anymore due to the spread of the coronavirus. As the young animals stay in their homes, their parents teach them about the importance of the quarantine, “physical distancing” and washing one’s hands.

Daza narrated the story in both English and Filipino. She also put out the Filipino version on her account.

The actress then thanked the team who helped her with the project: Tristan Yapchiongco for the animation, Jewies Art Space for the drawings, Joe Puyat for the sound design, Billie Puyat Murge for the facts and Nina Daza-Puyat for the Tagalog translation.

The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the Philippines has increased to 6,459, as of today, April 20. The Department of Health also reported that among those patients, 613 have recovered while 428 have died. JB
