Music acts announce postponement, cancelation of shows amid community quarantine, virus outbreak
The concert scene is grinding into a halt: Music artists and promoters, both local and foreign, have been either postponing or canceling shows, and putting major tours on hold, as the coronavirus pandemic persists around the world.
And with President Duterte placing Metro Manila under a monthlong “community quarantine”—which suspends land, air and sea travel to and from the capital starting March 15—music events scheduled in the upcoming weeks now hang in the balance.
Inquirer Entertainment has compiled a list of concerts that have been affected—as of writing time—by the pandemic.
