Kris Aquino reminisced on her days as a host of TV show “Pilipinas, Game Ka Na Ba?” while attending a wedding yesterday, Feb. 22.

The Queen of All Media hosted a portion of the reception in a style similar to the game show, complete with its theme song playing in the background. She posted a clip from the event on her Facebook page earlier today, Feb. 23.

i won’t sugarcoat, i have missed this soundtrack & stinger, na miss ko magtanong ng questions, na miss kong mag outfit, na miss kong ma brief ng writers, ni direk, ni tito mel, ni direk willy, and of course mag interact sa players- BUT part of my journey of maturing & healing has also been ACCEPTANCE… pero paminsan minsan, masarap din talagang balikan ang nakaraan kahit isang gabi lang.i’ll post part 2 later(the interview w/ the newlyweds), i’m still editing… special thanks to @alvingagui A for effort sya sa pag shoot ng 📱 video na ‘to. And yes, ito yung sinabi ni bimb na feeling “Lady Gaga” dress ko- only he can get away w/ saying that to me, and i’ll still giggle. 🤗#theaquinos 💛💛💛

Aquino first stated that she chose to host a part of the occasion after the groom asked her if she was willing to entertain at the reception.

Playing off of the program’s title, the short game was called “G or N ba?”, which also appeared to stand for the newlyweds’ names. In a figure-hugging and sparkling pink dress, Aquino asked the couple and guests questions like “Who is more analytical?” and “Who plans dates better?”

Following the event, Aquino said she missed various moments from the game show; its soundtrack, the outfits she wore, getting briefed by writers and directors, and interacting with the players.

While she enjoyed acting like a game show host again, she pointed out that part of her “journey of maturing [and] healing has also been acceptance.”

“[P]ero paminsan minsan, masarap din talagang balikan ang nakaraan kahit isang gabi lang,” she added.

(But from time to time, it is nice to relive the past even just for one night.)

Aquino was the initial host of the game show since it first aired in 2001 up to 2007. She was later replaced by Edu Manzano until the program ended in 2009. JB
