‘Walang bibitaw’: Dimples Romana’s husband recovering, can now eat regular food and exercise

Actress Dimples Romana feels thankful after her husband Boyet Ahmee’s health condition has had a significant improvement following a difficult month.
Ahmee’s doctors have finally allowed him to eat regular food and get back to exercising, and the actress shared the good news on Instagram last Thursday, Jan. 23. He was initially put on a soft diet after undergoing throat surgery.
“The past months may have been the most challenging for us as a family but we are super grateful that a few days ago, our beloved doctor has given us a go signal for @boyetahmee to now have normal food intake and can now slowly get into exercising,” Romana said.
“TIME TO REBUILD,” she added.

Romana’s good news was accompanied by a heartwarming photo of the “Kadenang Ginto” actress with her family, which consists of Ahmee, their daughter Callie and son Alonzo.
Ahmee was rushed to the hospital on Dec. 3, 2019, for coughing up blood following a throat operation to get rid of his sleep apnea. Weeks later, on Dec. 15, he was taken to the hospital again for the same reasons.
Sleep apnea is the condition when one involuntarily stops breathing during sleep, depriving the body of oxygen. It is usually associated with snoring.
“Salamat sa lahat sa inyo na nagdasal para kay Boyet at para [sa amin] (thank you for praying for Boyet and our family),” Romana noted. “Indeed prayers DO MOVE MOUNTAINS.”
“Sa lahat ng pinagdadaanan, ang importante WALANG BIBITAW (In every challenge that we face, what is important is that we do not give up),” she added.
Romana and Ahmee have been married for 16 years, and will be celebrating their 17th anniversary in June this year. JB
