Dimples Romana on hubby’s bloody health scare: Nawala ang pagka-Daniela Mondragon ko
MANILA, Philippines — The husband of Kadenang Ginto star Dimples Romana was hospitalized after waking up “choking and throwing up blood,” the actress said in an Instagram post.
“I thought I’d lose this one today. I have never been so scared in my life. Tanggal ang pagka-Daniela Mondragon ko kanina (I lost the fierceness of Daniela Mondragon),” she said of her husband Boyet Ahmee in a post late Tuesday night.

“He ate a little more than what he’s supposed to the night before. Dapat soft diet pa kasi sya (He was supposed to have soft diet). Hindi pa fully healed his throat from the operation. Lesson learned, make sure to follow your doctor’s instructions after operation,” she said.
“So much of the blood, nanghina ng malala yung mga tuhod ko (my knees were wobbly) while holding up the bags for him to throw up in while we were home, habang papunta sa hospital (while going to the hospital) and while inside the ER of @themedicalcity,” the actress added in her post.
She did not specify why her husband had to undergo surgery.
The actress then thanked her Kadenang Ginto family for understanding that she could not make it to the taping of the hit show that day.
“To my Kadenang Ginto family, thank you for understanding that I couldn’t shoot today. Family first. Always. Salamat (Thank you) for all the messages from my producers, directors, writers and co-actors, Sobrang naramdaman kong hindi ako nag-iisa (I really felt that I was not alone),” said Dimples.
She likewise thanked the medical and non-medical staff who promptly and adequately attended to her and her husband.
“Thankfully, Boyet is now stable and just waiting to get a bit better before we get discharged. Mahal (Love), know that no matter how busy I may get, you will always come first. Love you,” the actress said.
