Inquirer’s Hollywood insider clinches 2 journ awards in LA

It’s a great way to start the holiday season: Ruben V. Nepales, who writes thrice a week for his Only in Hollywood column in Inquirer Entertainment, has just won two third prizes at the 12th Annual National Arts and Entertainment Journalism Awards in Los Angeles.

Ruben won in the Celebrity News and Features categories for his articles on Sandra Oh and Elton John, respectively. Also feted at the event were actress Ann-Margret and director Quentin Tarantino. Just in time for Inquirer’s 34th anniversary. Congratulations, Ruben! —RITO P. ASILO
