“It’s been over a decade since I’ve hit the road but I am thrilled to put together an intimate, elevated evening of new and old tunes, performed with a superb group of musicians,” Moore said in a statement.

“I want the show to have threads of what the writing and recording process was like with this band, almost like you’ve been invited in our living room for an inside glimpse. It just feels good to be sharing this side of me again in its purest form, a real side of me I have been itching to put back into the universe,” she added.

Earlier this year, Moore released two new singles “When I Wasn’t Watching” and “I’d Rather Lose”, which marked her first original music since the release of her sixth studio album, “Amanda Leigh”, in 2009.

The “This Is Us” actress announced her musical comeback in July 2018, sharing a snippet of a new song she created with longtime collaborator and Grammy-nominated producer Mike Viola.

“Getting back to it. It’s time. I miss it. I’m not scared anymore. No more excuses. No more allowing someone else’s insecurities to dictate my relationship to music and singing. Boom,” Moore wrote on Instagram.

Details about the singer-songwriter’s upcoming new album are still scarce to this date, although Moore revealed that her latest studio opus will arrive at a yet-unknown date next date via Verve Forecast.

Last February, she told “WTF” podcast host Marc Maron that she planned to work on the album with her second husband Taylor Goldsmith and Californian producer Blake Mills during her hiatus from shooting “This Is Us”.

“[The songs] are very personal. I mean, I feel like I’ve lived a life in the last 10 years. I have got plenty to say,” she teased. JB
