MANILA, Philippines — Like a true “knight in shining armor,”  James Reid gave a short but sweet birth anniversary greeting to sweetheart Nadine Lustre.

Reid posted a photo of him and Lustre – both clad in their Halloween costumes as a “knight in shining armor” and an “angel” – on Thursday night over Instagram.

“She’s an angel and I’m her knight in shining armour… HAPPY BIRTHDAY, LOVE!” he wrote.
