LOOK: Sheena Halili is dreamy in K-drama-inspired prenup shoot
Actress Sheena Halili and her non-showbiz boyfriend Jeron Manzanero have joined in on the Korean craze, choosing to have a K-drama-themed engagement photo shoot.
The couple thought of having a “K-nup” since K-pop, K-dramas and samgyupsal restaurants are in style now, Halili said in her Instagram post last Thursday, Oct. 3.

The idea for a Korean-inspired photo shoot first came to the couple when they saw a booth featuring Korean-styled pictures at a bridal fair they attended.
“Hinila ko agad si Jeron at nag inquire,” Halili said. “Surprisingly hindi na namin kailangan lumipad daw ng Korea para mag K-nup?”
(I immediately pulled Jeron over and inquired. Surprisingly, we would not have to fly to Korea for a “K-nup”?)
“Korea ang lumipad dito sa Pinas (It is Korea that flew here to the Philippines), for us!” she added.
The couple wore similar pants suits in shades of tan above white tops as they held each other’s hands, and posed in front of a pastel pink wall. Manzanero gazed at his fiancée as she smiled and looked down, while also holding some flowers.
Halili revealed that the photographers who conducted the pictorial were all Koreans.
In another layout, the couple went in a more traditional direction, as seen in a separate post last Friday, Oct. 4.
The actress wore a strapless nude-toned dress while her partner opted for a classic tuxedo with a black bowtie. The two posed under a teepee tent adorned with flowers, with their reflection showing in what appears to be a pond in front of them.

The bright tones and dreamy atmosphere of the photos indeed made the couple look like stars of their own K-drama.
“K-Drama #SheeNimo,” Halili even joked.
She then asked her fans and followers for a title for their K-drama. Some of her fans gave the titles “SheenabiNimo” and “SheenaSinta kita” as suggestions.
Halili and Manzanero got engaged in August 2018, after Manzanero surprised her with a proposal while inside a movie theater. JB
