Kapuso actress Sheena Halili went the compassionate route when a critic on social media questioned her being a Christian.

Halili took to Instagram last Nov. 6 to share a photo of her sporting one of the swimsuits from her swimwear line, Yves Swimwear, which she launched last year. Halili can be seen perched on the edge of the pool, wearing a fuchsia one-piece swimsuit, one of the many styles her Yves Swimwear offers.

One netizen, however, seemed to have a problem with the picture, and asked Halili in the comments section what ever happened to her.

“I know you are a Christian Sheena, what happened to you?” the netizen (@batang65) wrote. “After meeting @mainedcm (Maine Mendoza) lagi ka na rin sa bar, why did you let her influence you and not you to influence her to be a  good servant of God… Bakit sunod-sunoran ka sa kanyang maka-mundong buhay, a bit disappointed here. I hope you open your eyes and go back to the Lord.”

Halili, on her end, did not like the tone of the netizen, and replied to her critic, saying that a true Christian is not judgmental.

Halili, who is active on social media, also told the netizen that one’s Christianity is not based on online workings.

“Nasa puso yun,” she continued, adding that she had nothing to prove to people on social media.

She also said that she never stepped on anybody throughout her life. It is saddening for Halili, then, that in contrast to judgmental Christians, there are so many non-Christians who have such big hearts.

As per Halili, God would likely choose such people rather than those who claim themselves as Christians but have closed hearts and minds, and only see the wrong in people.

Moreover, she added that she is still a Christian and knows her limitations. Everything she does in life, too, has the blessing of her parents and her fiance.

/ra
