Aside from the High Court justice, other personalities and netizens reacted on the latest issue that got the two Kapamilya stars the top trending topic on social media Tuesday night.

Comedian and talent manager Ogie Diaz shared his two cents on the issue via a Facebook post, saying: “Pahupa na, eh. Sana, di na lang nagsalita si Julia Barretto.”

He also raised the possibility of a conspiracy, saying: “Kahapon nagsalita si [Gerald], si JB ngayon. Nag-usap kaya sila?” referring to Anderson’s interview on Monday, where he cleared that there was no third party involved in his breakup with Alonzo.

Ethel Booba also chimed in the conversation, and even suggested “Victims of Love” as the perfect song for both actresses in their current situation:

The comedienne even edited herself and her “friend”—a snake— while reading tweets with the Salazar sisters from the “Four Sister and a Wedding” film, played by Alonzo, Angel Locsin, Shaina Magdayao and Toni Gonzaga.

Netizens too could not help but air their comments on social media, with some even picking sides if they are for #TeamBea or #TeamJulia.

One Twitter user commended Barretto for taking a stand, and told other netizens that it is the actress’ right to speak and defend herself.

Meanwhile, another netizen defended Alonzo, saying that the actress is “in pain” and is not “playing victim.”

“Julia Barretto should just sit down,” the netizen added.

And while Alonzo has yet to reply on Barretto’s statement, this netizen posted a GIF, showing her reaction that she is simply chewing on her popcorn waiting for the actress’ next move.   /muf
