Shay Mitchell is expecting her first child with Canadian TV host and reporter Matte Babel.
The Filipino-Canadian actress made the announcement on Friday, June 28 (Saturday in Manila), with a topless picture showing her pregnant belly on Instagram.

She also released a video called “Guess Who’s Preggers” in her YouTube channel, which gives a rundown of how she broke the news to people close to her, her “lonely” emotions on pregnancy and the photo shoot she had with her growing tummy.
The “Pretty Little Liars” star wrote in the caption of the video: “Everyone waits for the right time to make the announcement and for me it wasn’t until I couldn’t hide it anymore and was tired of wearing over sized sweatshirts. We’re beyond excited and looking forward to starting a family.”

The pregnancy news comes months after Mitchell disclosed on Instagram in January that she suffered a miscarriage in 2018.
Mitchell has kept her relationship with Babel low-key—the YouTube video is the first time she shared footage of them together. They have been romantically linked since 2017. /ra
