After hosting its annual Nominees Night at Annabel’s Restaurant on June 15, the Society of Philippine Entertainment Editors (SPEEd), led by its current president, Ian Fariñas, is gearing up for the 3rd Annual Eddys on July 14 at New Frontier Theater (formerly Kia Theatre). The show will be telecast on Cignal TV’s Colours Channel on July 21.

Duking it out in the best picture category are “Citizen Jake,” “Goyo: Ang Batang Heneral,” “Liway,” “Rainbow’s Sunset” and “Signal Rock.” SPEEd is made up of entertainment editors of newspapers and tabloids circulated daily nationwide.
