Filipino dance group advances to US ‘World of Dance’ finals
MANILA, Philippines — Filipino dance group VPeepz is one step away from winning American dance competition “World of Dance” as they won the junior team division and advanced to the finals.
VPeepz, composed of dancers from 11 to 16 years old, earned an average score of 96 with their performance of Nelly and Fergie’s “Party People” on Sunday (Monday in Manila).

“There’s a level of synchronicity that you guys have that I could say very few other people in this competition that can even come close. It is that good,” judge Ne-yo told the group.
The group impressed judge Jennifer Lopez once again, this time with a unique formation simulating a member of the team getting her legs broken in midair.
“You guys were body slamming and doing all kinds of crazy things up there, but you also broke somebody’s legs. That was my favorite part,” judge Jennifer Lopez said.
