Why Bea Alonzo decided to be a vlogger

“It’s not natural for me to share my personal life with others,” says actress Bea Alonzo, “but I’ve decided to make a vlog so my fans will have an idea on how I am in real life, because they’re important to me.” “Through my vlog (‘By Bea,’ launched in 2018), I get to share with them my interests and hobbies,” she explains.

Bea adds that she is also aware that “we’re already in the digital age, so I have to keep up.”

Bea doesn’t only keep herself busy with vlogging—she is also into baking. The actress recently finished a short course at Center for Culinary Arts.

“Right now, I only bake for my friends and family,” she declares. “It’s definitely a hobby, although I haven’t decided yet on whether I want to turn it into a business. Aside from the taste, I also enjoy designing cakes. It’s like I’m in an art class.” —MARINEL R. CRUZ
