WATCH: Ruru Madrid marks 21st birthday with bohemian party

In the Philippines, men traditionally mark their debuts at the age of 21 years old. For actor Ruru Madrid, the special occasion calls for an outdoor bohemian-inspired party for his family and friends to enjoy.

Madrid’s happiness in the presence of the people closest to him during the party was evident, as seen in a video uploaded via Instagram by Nice Print, yesterday, Dec. 4. The actor, clad in a floral shirt, entertained his guests with a smile on his face.

Tables were situated around the pool. Multi-colored lights provided a laid-back atmosphere, perfect for the theme.

Madrid’s three-tiered cake, decorated with feather and dream catcher icing, also complemented the bohemian theme.

Madrid’s 21st birthday celebration saw the actor’s celebrity friends in attendance. “Victor Magtanggol” star and “Eat Bulaga” co-host Alden Richards was among Madrid’s pals present.

Madrid’s “Sunday PinaSaya” co-stars Andre Paras and Jerald Napoles attended the party as well. The remained true to being comedians as they candidly posed with the birthday celebrant.

“Victor Magtanggol” star Andrea Torres also had a turn in delivering a birthday message to Madrid.

Madrid was all smiles in a photo of him between actor Gabby Eigenmann and talent manager Perry Lansigan.

Actress and model Kelly Day also made an appearance in the party. Day was spotted sitting beside Madrid in another photo.

Madrid took to Instagram yesterday to express his gratitude: “Ako po ay sobrang nagpapasalamat sa lahat po ng mga taong bumati at nagmamahal sa akin! (I am very thankful for all the people who greeted me and love me.)” JB
