Singer-actress Mystica (Ruby Villanueva in real life) has turned her call for assistance to Kapuso actor Dingdong Dantes after comedian Michael V reportedly did not respond favorably to her when she called on him for help in her bid for a showbiz comeback.

Mystica first approached Kapamilya actor Coco Martin back in August when she tearfully asked him in a Facebook video to give her a chance to appear in “Ang Probinsyano.” Her request was heeded and she joined the show for a short stint last September, along with husband Troy.

After her time in “Ang Probinsyano” ended, Mystica then turned to Michael V for some assistance. The latter, however, did not respond to her, as per her Facebook post last Nov. 29.

“Kung ayaw ni Michael V. na pansinin yung mga panawagan ko for me to continue in pursuing my comedic talent, then mag-switch na lang ako into drama so that I can grow as an actress in terms of doing some dramatic roles,” Mystica wrote in her post. “In connection with this, I am calling the attention of Dingdong Dantes since I have already worked with him before…”

As per Mystica, she and Dantes were together in some guestings on television and hopes that he can help her join his new show, “Cain at Abel” on GMA Network.

“Sana matulungan niya akong maipasali sa kanyang kinabibilangang bagong programa called “Cain at Abel” at GMA7!” she said.

She said that it’s time to move and “knock at another door” if her call for Michael V was not given any attention.

“I have waited for more than a week already and I’ve never heard anything coming from Michael V,” she said in her video. “So of course I have to move on. I’m not gonna push myself to somebody who’s not willing to help me out…”

Meanwhile, Michael V took to his Twitter on Dec. 2 and clarified to his fans that the most he could do, from his end, was suggest. The final decision, the comedian said, belonged to the network.

“Good morning Tweeps! As much as gusto kong magpasok ng ibang artista para maging cast ng #BubbleGang & #PepitoManaloto, hanggang suggestion lang po ako,” Michael V said. “Nasa GMA Network po ang final decision.”

Mystica made it clear in her video that she was not asking for financial help and just wanted to return to the showbiz world where she said she belonged. She shared that she has no manager and is self-managed, thus resorting to panawagan on Facebook to ask for help from fellow actors.  /ra
