IV of Spades to open Panic! At the Disco concert

Indie rock/funk band IV of Spades will be Panic! At the Disco’s front act in their upcoming concert’s Manila leg this weekend.

Warner Music Philippines, IV of Spades’ record label, confirmed this news on Tuesday in a Facebook post.

Panic! At The Disco’s concert billed as “Pray for the Wicked” tour is set to happen at the Mall of Asia (MOA) Arena this Saturday, Oct. 20.

The trio recently bagged four awards at the 31st Awit Awards held at the New Frontier Theater on Sunday, Oct. 14.

IV of Spades won Music Video of the Year, Record of the Year, Favorite Group Artist and Best Performance by a Group Recording Artist.

The band consisting of Zild Benitez, Badjao De Castro and Blaster Silonga was also nominated at the MTV Europe Music Award 2018 in the Best Southeast Asian Act category. /cbb
