Mom knows best: Teresa Loyzaga tells son Diego not to bring home a motorbike or else…

Aside from being an actor, Diego Loyzaga is known for his love of high-speed cars. But what about motorcycles?

The Kapamilya actor asked his followers on Instagram Friday if he should take home a bike from the set of his new teleserye, “Los Bastardos.” “Like if i should take this baby home. 50k likes and i get it for free,” he wrote.

While everyone complimented the actor on how good he looks riding the motorbike and encouraged him take it home, mom Teresa told her son to make a “simple choice”: “BIKE OR ME? You take that bike or any bike home, I will leave!!”

Amused, Loyzaga replied to her mom’s comment: “I was waiting for this comment.”

However, netizen @bradleyrymph thought that Teresa’s ultimatum was not “quite consistent.” “[Y]ou cheer on your son when he’s zooming a car around a racetrack at death-defying speeds, but give him an ultimatum for a motorcycle?” he asked.

But Teresa put her foot down with her judgement. She told the netizen that when her son was part of History Channel’s  “Celebrity Car Wars” (Teresa referred to it as “Celebrity Races”), it was a “controlled environment.” “Accidents happen anywhere, yes. The probability of it happening on a bike on open roads with public flow of traffic is highest and my main concern,” Teresa said.
