“The Megastar”
The recent 40th anniversary concert of “Megastar” Sharon Cuneta felt like a reunion-slash-tribute rolled into one.
“My Forty Years Sharon” gathered Mega’s friends onstage and in the audience gallery of Smart Araneta Coliseum.
On centerstage, Sharon performed with the industry’s biggest stars—including leading men Christopher de Leon and Richard Gomez, and surprise guest Regine Velasquez.
But daughter KC Concepcion’s duet with Sharon proved to be the night’s biggest tearjerker—as in waterworks galore!
Spotted in the audience were her pals Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo, Aga Muhlach and Charlene Gonzalez, Ai-Ai delas Alas, Maricel Soriano and Cherie Gil. BAYANI SAN DIEGO JR.
