Catriona Gray excited to compete in 2018 Miss Universe pageant

Filipinos are hopeful that Binibining Pilipinas-Universe 2018 Catriona Gray will bring home this year’s Miss Universe crown.
As early as now, Gray said she is already excited to compete, especially as the pageant will be held in a country close to her heart, Thailand.
“I’m so happy it’s in Asia because I think we make a celebration of pageants like no other […] I really hope all my friends and supporters could come and watch,” Gray said in an interview on Thursday during her visit to the Philippine Children’s Medical Center.
While competing with foreign beauties is a challenge, she said the massive support of the nation is a big edge as well as her love for Thailand.
“The edge is definitely I have the support of the Filipino people and I’m so blessed that their belief in me is amazing. Also I lived in Thailand for about 3 to 4 months back when I was 20 so I love Thailand talaga,” she said.

Apart from her charitable activities, she said the preparation for the competition keeps her busy. She also wants everything covered.
“Lahat ng wardrobe ko, Q and A, public speaking, walking and lahat ng aspects naman,” she said.
The pageant will be held on December 17 at the Muang Thong Thani complex in Nonthaburi. /ee
