LOOK: Catriona Gray shows some love for elephants in Thailand

Binibining Pilipinas-Universe 2018 Catriona Gray tagged along some buddies and jetted to Thailand this week for their own little getaway.

Gray first shopped in the Sampeng Market, where she had to find her way out of “this maze of a market” before exploring Chiang Mai in the northern part of Thailand. The beauty queen shared the photo on her Instagram.

She and her friends, one of them  fellow beauty queen Angelica Alita, next explored The Bangkok Train Night Market. Gray took a shot of what they ate: mixed bugs. The group had various reactions once they placed the food in their mouth.

The beauty queen then showed some love for elephants at the Mae Taeng Elephant Park and Clinic. She even had the opportunity to feed them, with the elephants extending their trunks and opening their mouths to await their food.

She then described that she was “travelling with a grateful heart” as she paid a visit to the White Temple.

Aside from the temple, she also got to see people of the Long Neck Tribe, where the locals wear gold bands to elongate their necks.

And as she is set to come home soon, Gray said that she is soaking in every experience she could have while in Thailand.
