Carrie Underwood reveals release date for ‘Cry Pretty’
Just days after releasing her single “Cry Pretty”, country star Carrie Underwood has revealed that she has an album of the same name set for release in September.
The album’s title track was released on April 11 and, according to a statement, has already topped iTunes Top Songs charts in 12 countries.
Underwood, a seven-time Grammy winner, is co-producing the album. On Wednesday, the singer unveiled an album trailer that gives a behind-the-scenes look at her work in the studio.
Few other details have been revealed about “Cry Pretty”, which will be Underwood’s first album since 2015’s “Storyteller”.
“At this point in my career, I feel stronger and more creative than ever. I think you can hear that in this new album,” said Underwood of the upcoming LP. “It’s emotional, it’s soulful, it’s real, and we also have some fun on there too.”
