Lolit Solis cries foul over baby Talitha Sotto’s malicious bashers

/ 01:04 PM February 08, 2018

Veteran talent manager and host Lolit Solis fiercely defended  Pauleen and Vic Sotto from the malicious bashers of their defenseless three-month-old daughter, baby Talitha Maria.

Solis stood by the couple in her Instagram page, Feb. 5, where she posted a photo of a sleeping baby Talitha swaddled in a pink cloth and holding a heart-shaped stuffed toy.

(Isn’t it annoying when people say your child looks like someone else? When the child is compared to others, that’s foul, isn’t it? I am sure, some people have malice when they compare. That’s enough, that should be stopped. Children are angels. They should not be dragged into intrigues.”

Solis’ defense came after bashers criticized pictures of baby Talitha in Pauline Sotto’s Instagram, saying she looked like child star Ryzza Mae Santos. Pauline’s Instagram is now set on private mode to keep bashers from going after the baby, although she commented on Solis’ post, expressing her utmost gratitude.

“Thank you nay! Wala naman sigurong nanay ang papayag na kung ano ano sabihin sa anak niya (Thank you, mom! I think no mother would agree that bad things be said about their child),” Sotto replied. “If other people think that Tali looks like Ryzza, no problem. But for me, she’s a combination of her mom and her dad.”

Where Pauline draws the line, she further wrote, is when people comment nonsensical things out of spite and malice. “Hindi naman pwede yun. Pati ako nadadamay na, ang daming imbento tungkol sakin,” wrote Sotto. “Hay oh well! May mga tao talagang madaming hanash!” (I can’t allow that. I get involved too, there are so many made up stuff about me. Oh, well, there really are people who got so much to say.)

Solis warned bashers by saying she would be really mad at them if they continue, even providing a comical explanation on why the baby was named Talitha, “At sige kayo, magagalit ako di nyo ba alam kaya Talitha malapit sa Lolita. Paglaki niyan monster din tulad ko hah hah ingat kayo, joke joke joke.”

(I’ll be really mad, and don’t you know that it’s Talitha because it’s close to Lolita? When she grows up, she would be a monster too, like me, so be careful. Joke, joke, joke!)

The bashers may continue on with their hateful and callous words, but as Pauline now shifts her focus on the safety of her baby and the privacy of her family, it seems that what the haters can never take away from her, despite their desperate acts of cyberbullying is life’s most beautiful gift: real love’s great privilege, which is rare in itself.
