Diego Loyzaga on accidentally posting video of himself naked: ‘Hindi siya scandal’

Diego Loyzaga clarified that a video of him nude which was posted on his Instagram Stories was unintentional.
A screengrab of the video made the rounds on the Internet, prompting Loyzaga to explain his side.
During the “Mama’s Girl” press con, he shared that while vacationing in Europe with his mom and brother, he was vlogging his experiences.
One of these was trying the hot tub in Sweden. According to the 22-year-old actor, “It’s a Swedish and Finnish tradition na you get butt naked in a hot tub, sauna muna kasi it’s snowing outside then you go to the hot tub. “
He explained that he was taking a video of himself on Instagram Stories, showing only the upper half of his body. However, he accidentally panned down.
Instead of deleting the video, he accidentally pressed the wrong button, thereby posting the video.
On the Instagram Stories feature, the buttons to save a picture and to post a picture are right next to each other.
He said he deleted it immediately when he realized his mistake.
“I was vlogging the whole time I was in Sweden and Amsterdam and I was showing everyone who follows me yung mga ibang kultura sa ibang bansa (the cultures of other countries),” he shared.
“Naisip ko rin na hindi lahat naiintindihan, hindi magegets ng lahat ng tao dito. So nung nalaman ko na napost ko pala yun, tinanggal ko kaagad.” (I thought that not everyone would understand. So when I posted it, I removed it right away.)
He added, “Pero from the night before, I was also naked. And no one really made an issue about it.”
“For me hindi siya scandal,” he said. (For me, it’s not a scandal.)
When asked about how mom Teresa Loyzaga felt about it, he shared that to run naked in the snow is in his bucket list.

“Sino ang camera man ko? Ang nanay ko. (Who was my camera man? My own mother.) It’s a European tradition. It’s not a big deal abroad,” he said.
When probed if he preferred being hairless as the screen grab showed, he laughed. “Australians hindi.” (Australians would rather not.)
Loyzaga was raised in Australia for about 10 years when he migrated there with his mom and brother. He later returned to the Philippines to pursue a career in showbiz. Niña V. Guno/JB
