Kylie Padilla posts carbon copy throwback photo of her and mom Liezl

Kapuso actress Kylie Padilla caught the attention of social media again this time via a throwback entry she had of herself, her older sister Queenie Padilla and mom Liezl Sicangco who looked in every inch just like her in her younger years.

The photo which was obviously taken from the ’90s had now garnered thousands of likes and comments pointing out Kylie’s extreme similarities with her mom. She captioned it, “My mom at 24 and my ate and I at 1. Man.”

Quite incidentally though, the actress is now 24 years old and is also a mom herself. For the netizens, it is interesting to see that 24 years ago, Kylie looked exactly how her mom did when she was her age.

Liezl is actor Robin Padilla’s ex-wife. Kylie and her siblings stayed and grew up in Australia in their younger years.

Just recently, their father had a blockbuster reunion movie with megastar Sharon Cuneta entitled “Unexpectedly Yours.” It already earned more than P150 million in gross sales proving their impact to their fans since they started their team-up in 1991 even until today.

Sharon and Robin have openly admitted that they fell in love while on the set of their 1991 smash hit movie “Maging Sino Ka Man.” It got so serious they almost ended up in marriage, however, the megastar had to back out upon discovering that her leading man had fathered a child believed to be Kylie’s older sister, Queenie. Robin eventually married Liezl and had four kids with her until they divorced in 2007.

Robin is now happily married to actress-TV host Mariel Rodriguez while Liezl also remarried after her divorce with her ex-husband.
