For six seasons—and two big screen movies—hit romantic comedy TV series “Sex and the City” personified what sisterhood was all about.

The circle of friends, which included the likes of Carrie Bradshaw (played by Sarah Jessica Parker), Charlotte York (Kristin Davis), Miranda Hobbes (Cynthia Nixon) and Samantha Jones (Kim Cattrall) appeared to have been inseparable in times of grief and joy.

But according to Cattrall, it was all a charade, as the four women couldn’t have been more indifferent in real life.

“We’ve never been friends,” the 61-year-old actress candidly told host Piers Morgan in an appearance on ITV, as relayed by Page Six.

“We’ve been colleagues and in some ways it’s a very healthy place to be because then you have a clear line between your professional life and relationship and your personal.”

The revelation came after previous reports claimed that the cancellation of the third “Sex in the City” movie was due to Cattrall’s “outrageous demands,” which the actress has denied.

“I never asked for any money, I never asked for any projects. To be thought of as some kind of diva is ridiculous,” she told Morgan.

Cattrall, however, admitted that she has been against a third installment for a year, and even called out “Carrie Bradshaw” herself.

“This is really where I take to task the people from ‘Sex and the City,’ specifically Sarah Jessica Parker. I really think she could have been nicer,” she said.

“Nobody ever picks up the phone and tries to contact you and say, ‘How you doing?’ That would have been the way to handle it,” Cattrall shared.  “This is, it feels like, a toxic relationship.”  Khristian Ibarrola /ra
