“A Love to Last” star Ian Veneracion says he himself is amazed at the way he has managed to reenergize his acting career. Primarily an action star in the ’90s, the 42-year-old actor owes his “second wind” to the popularity of his screen partnership with Jodi Santamaria, which began in “Pangako Sa ’Yo.” Ian tries not to let it get to his head, he adds.

“Whatever is happening now is just work for me. I’ve been acting my whole life, and I’m used to the attention. But I don’t let it spoil me or affect my personal life. The only difference now is that when I post on Instagram, more people repost or react to it. However, nothing has changed where it concerns my lifestyle—or how I protect my privacy.” —MARINEL R.
