Paolo Ballesteros returns to ‘Eat Bulaga’ noontime show
After nearly seven months of absence, Paolo Ballesteros returned to the gates of “Eat Bulaga” on Monday, Sept. 5.
The 33-year-old actor-host joined the bubbly Kalyeserye team composed of Jose Manalo, Wally Bayola and dub smash queen Maine Mendoza as they rapped Black Eyed Peas’ hit “Where Is the Love?” during their segment at Pasay City.
When fellow comedian Allan K told him the audiences present at Broadway missed him, Ballesteros responded by saying, “I miss you too.”
Jose gibbed, “Pasensiya na kayo, galing [si Paolo] ng Chicago,” referring to Ballesteros’ recent visit to her daughter Keira, who studies there.

As recalled, Ballesteros was suspended after his angry Facebook rant about “non-assistance” of staff members during an Ad Summit in Subic, Zambales, last March. He decided to drink inside his hotel room and snub the event, which was sponsored by TAPE Productions.
Ballesteros was not the only “JoWaPao” member who was suspended from Eat Bulaga. Manalo was suspended in 2009 after his wife was tagged in a jewelry scam while Bayola quietly took a leave in 2013 due to a sex scandal. Gianna Francesca Catolico
