The photo was accompanied by a caption written by Mraz: “Today I was made the luckiest man in the world.”

He also changed the description in his Twitter and Instagram accounts to “Singer/Songwriter/Husband.”

Well-wishers on social media flooded Mraz’s photo with congratulatory messages.

In an interview with the couple in Osider magazine last August, Mraz said that he met Carano in her coffee shop in Hermosa Beach, California in 2007. During that time, they were dating other people and are busy with their lives. It was only in 2011 when they got together.

“She is whole-hearted in every action, is extremely generous, completely drama-free, and has the most intuitive-genius-mind in the kitchen. Not to mention her smile absolutely melts me,” Mraz said about his wife.

Carano have only kind words about her husband: “He’s the most loving, generous, and most hardworking man I know. These are the most attractive qualities I could ever ask for in a partner. He inspires me and empowers me every day to live my best life and he cares so deeply about the things that really matter.”
