‘Improprieties’ on newscast scored

MANABAT. Little bundle of joy.

Is ABS-CBN’s “Bandila” a talk show or a newscast? Roman Villar, telemarketer, is asking. He shares: “Every time I watch, the anchors seem like they’re running a social network talk show. Their partiality and impropriety have gone beyond bounds.

“In the past, we wouldn’t see any reactions from anchors. Now, hand gestures are employed when they read the news. Sometimes, they even ridicule personalities by presenting Internet videos and photos. Afterwards, an anchor says, ‘Huwag mapipikon, katuwaan lang naman ‘to.’ Unfortunately, ’di ako natuwa.”
