MANILA, Philippines – Two decades ago, iconic Filipino band Eraserheads released the megahit “Magasin.” In 2014, more than a decade later since it has disbanded, the music group is reuniting, well, on a magazine.

The Eraserheads grace the cover of the September issue of the men’s magazine “Esquire,” mimicing the famous pose of The Beatles as they cross the Abbey Road in London, UK.  The band is also releasing two singles titled “Sabado,” and “1995” that come exclusively with the magazine.

“Also in this issue: Editor-in-Chief Erwin Romulo’s in-depth account of the Eraserheads’ London tour,” Esquire’s Facebook post stated. “By turns insightful, funny, informative, and heartbreaking, it is a unique document, both intensely personal and engagingly human.”

Eraserheads, originally composed of Ely Buendia, Raimund Marasigan, Marcus Adoro and Buddy Zabala, was one of the most popular bands in the Philippines during the 90s. It produced megahits like Overdrive, Spolarium, Ang Huling El Bimbo, and Toyang.

The group, however, disbanded in 2002, but staged a widely successful reunion concert in 2008.
