It’s a quid pro quo, Katy Perry
Whoever in Katy Perry’s management decided to make that call to include the famous images of the Taal Volcano and its surroundings in her music video “Roar” deserves a hearty pat on the back.
I just love the idea that our country is getting more exposure through any valuable means. And what better way than through a music video from one of the hottest Pop artists around today?
Given the idea that a quick flash of the Taal Volcano was hardly noticeable, it still would undeniably get nature lovers and travelers curious as to its whereabouts and perhaps entice them to come visit our country.
Without her even half trying, Katy Perry’s latest music video has done the Department of Tourism a great PR job! Time for that government agency to do its own homework?
One thing sure, though, is that the next time Katy Perry holds a one-night concert here, she will use that same backdrop of the Taal Volcano which will obviously please immensely her local fans.
