Ai-Ai preempts Jed’s anticipated rebuttal

Last week, rumors broke online that Jed Salang was set to expose nasty things about estranged wife Ai-Ai de las Alas.
About a photo that Ai-Ai uploaded to her Instagram account on May 22, one fan posted a comment: “…may ipagkakalat daw siya [Jed] tungkol sa ’yo at gaganti…”
Seemingly unperturbed, Ai-Ai replied: “Alam ko na ’yun … na sex maniac ako sabi … hayaan niyo na …” She continued: “Babuyin niya na ako sa buong Pilipinas, wala naman na akong magagawa kung gagawin niya ’yun. Let go, let God. God bless his soul.”

To illustrate: VS was about to do a crucial dramatic scene with Longtime Partner. VS pretended to be insecure and kept asking for tips from LP. VS’ little song-and-dance gave LP an ego boost.
When it was time to shoot the scene, LP pushed a little too hard, either to impress or upstage VS.
LP ended up looking like a ham. Of course, VS was snickering in the sidelines.
In the past, LP kept badmouthing VS, who finally got even.
Dreaded star
Seasoned Star, not well-loved by colleagues, was slated to replace Beautiful Personality on a scandalous show.
Unknown to SS, coworkers were praying fervently that the plan wouldn’t push through because they know that SS can be such a headache. In fact, a mole describes SS as “demented.”
In her youth, SS had the gall to fight with Respected Artist. Until now, she cuts anyone who gets in her way.
KATHRYN Bernardo
No-show
Hunky Brothers were invited to grace a high-octane event. Apparently, no one checked the fine print on the invite.
Hours before the party, HB learned that the gig’s main sponsor was the rival of a company that they endorsed. HB begged off at the last minute.
As luck would have it, one of the organizers is related to Sexy Celeb, who was suddenly there in the brothers’ stead.
Cosmetics junkie
Heard on the Radyo Inquirer program “Kliq Showbiz” (dzIQ 990 AM, Monday to Friday, 3 to 5 p.m.).
Former Teen Sensation is addicted to cosmetics. She seldom ventures out of the house without makeup on.
It started when TS was a child star. On a long flight, while other passengers dozed, TS would give up sleep altogether to doll herself up.
Is this because she is not that ravishing in person? Our spy says TS is totally unrecognizable without makeup.
