Annoying star’s minions concoct fake scandal

/ 10:27 PM April 09, 2013

AI-AI de las Alas keeps mum about supposed Vegas wedding.

Apparently, supporters fear that Annoying Star’s incessant shenanigans have backfired. Is that the reason that a faux scandal erupted in Showtown recently?

Major Star’s family was dragged into a mess that mercifully turned out to be a hoax. Curiously, the source of the scuttlebutt is the former office of AS’ Vociferous Minion.

Noisy Personality was the first to inform the press about Promising Artist’s tempting offer.

Turned out, PA was just kidding, no doubt knowing that hammy NP sorely lacks, uh, necessary skills.

In short, it was just idle chatter or, in biz parlance, mindless chika.

But in the hands of drumbeaters, it was acknowledgment of NP’s talents. Naman.

JASON Francisco says he was defending Melai’s honor.

Femme fatal

Picked up from the Inquirer tabloid Bandera: Friends, gay and women, have become wary of Scandalous Celebrity.

SC has the nasty habit of seducing her pals’ guys. And SC doesn’t discriminate!

The gang was having fun at a smoky bar. SC’s Gay Friend went to the restroom, leaving Hunky Date vulnerable.

During GF’s short time in the loo, SC succeeded in doing the dirty deed with HD. Talk about quickies.

Or under-the-table deals.

Eyes wide open

MARK Herras insists the date was only for the show.

Heard on the Radyo Inquirer program “Kliq Showbiz” (dzIQ 990 AM, Monday to Friday, 3 to

5 p.m.): Sexy Starlet has gone under the knife countless times.

Too many surgeries have taken their toll, observers note. SS not only looks totally different from her old self, she also acquired a nocturnal quirk because of the countless nips and tucks.

A spy swears SS has trouble closing her eyes when sleeping.

Scary sight.

Comic Tiya Pusit denies her rumored wedding, but confirms that her beau is 27 years old: “I’m happy the way things are. I have someone to talk to, someone who listens.”

Top of the Talk Shows

For those who missed last weekend’s TV gabfests  (and why we are moved, if we are moved):

Ara Mina, prodded about her reported reconciliation with Cristine Reyes: “OK lang ba kung ’di muna ’ko magpa-interview? Gusto ko muna sana ng quiet time with my family at i-enjoy itong moment para maka-catch up kami sa mga panahon na nawala sa amin. This time nakita ko ang sincerity niya sa paghingi ng sorry sa akin. God is good!” (All manner of private time should be enjoyed while it lasts, yes.)

Aljur Abrenica on his house getting robbed: “Ang importante, ligtas kami … Ang inaalala ko lang kasi ’yung kapatid kong babae na-trauma. Sana makalipat na kami [ng bahay].” (Quick, move to the new one.)

Mark Herras on allegedly being spotted on a date with Kylie Padilla: “Baka taping  lang ’yun!” (Meron bang lights, camera … or action  man lang?)

Aljur on his relationship with Kylie: “Maayos po kami. Masaya po kami.” (Si Papa Robin kaya, masaya rin?)

Andrei Yllana, asked who’s more “gwaping” between him and his dad Jomari: “Ako raw. Kasi ’yung dad ko at mom (Aiko Melendez) ko naghalo na kaya mas pogi raw ako.” (In fairness.)

Jackie Rice on viewers yapping about her wig on “Bukod Kang Pinagpala”: “Happy ako, kasi ang ibig sabihin nanonood sila. At least napansin, ’yun ang importante.” (Uh.)

Richard Yap on being harassed by a fan at the airport: “May biglang lumapit sa ’king babae, hugged me, shook me, and then biglang sinuntok niya ako sa pwet … after that umalis na lang siya.” (Some girls have all the luck.)

John Lloyd Cruz on his movie, “It Takes a Man and a Woman,” reportedly making more than P200 million: “I’m emotional na naman. It’s the feeling of being appreciated, it gets you there, eh.” (So now you can stop crying.)

Daniel’s message to fans—and detractors: “Sa lahat ng nagmamahal sa ’kin, mas mahal ko kayo. Sa mga may ayaw sa ’kin, mas ayaw ko sa inyo. Abot-langit, ayoko sa inyo!” (Someone give this boy a handler.)

Ai-Ai de las Alas, asked to confirm rumors that she married her boyfriend Jed Salang in Las Vegas: “Ah, next time na.” (Whatever happens in Vegas …)

John Prats, asked if he was still filing a complaint against Jason Franciso who assaulted him: “Parang gusto ko nang magpatawad but half of me parang, ‘Ganun na lang ba?’ Minsan kasi kapag sobrang mabait ka, minsan naaabuso ka. Palalampasin mo na lang ba?”  (Ayaw mo pang magpatawad.)

John on Jason Francisco accusing him of bullying Melai Cantiveros: “We don’t do that here in ‘Banana Split.’ It’s not bullying—it’s asaran. Tropa kasi kami, eh. Kapag tropa normal na nagkakaroon ng asaran.” (Somebody ask Melai, quick!)

Jason explains: “Iba ang nakakatawa sa pinagtatawanan. Lagyan lang natin ng limit at respeto, kasi babae pa rin iyang si Melai.”

(Quick sabi e.)

Sunshine Cruz, asked if a reconciliation with husband Cesar Montano is possible: “Only God knows.” (That’s a … maybe?)
