Actress-turned-vlogger Kristel Fulgar and her Korean fiancé, Ha Su Hyuk, continue to delight their fans with wedding preparations as they shared some moments from their wedding dress fitting in South Korea.
Fulgar, who was accompanied by her soon-to-be husband, gave a sneak peek through her vlog of wedding dresses she considered for her big day but ended up not choosing.
The former child star is set to wear two wedding dresses, one for the church ceremony and another for the reception.
For her first option for the church ceremony, Fulgar wore a short-sleeved dress with a sweetheart neckline and draped bodice. Although she found the quality of the silk good, the vlogger said she did not choose it because it was “too simple.”
The former “Goin’ Bulilit” star then sported a small, puffy-sleeve dress with a beaded-rhinestone waistline for her second option. Fulgar remarked that she found the style very elegant but did not like the size of the sleeves.
Fulgar then showed her third option, a floral-patterned beaded ensemble, which she found perfect for the church ceremony yet found “too heavy to wear.”
Her options for the reception also included three dresses; one is off-the-shoulder, with a v-neckline, and is embellished with small, pearl-like beads.
“It looks good on screen but not so much in reality,” the actress described the dress.
The second option, which Fulgar admitted she almost chose, was an off-the-shoulder, sweetheart neckline wedding gown with intricate floral embroidery and beading.
While the last option was a fitted bodice with light-colored beads densely scattered across the fabric of the dress.
“This was my first choice when I searched on their website, but something else caught my eye the most,” she wrote.
The vlogger did not disclose the wedding dress she ended up choosing, which was not shown from the earlier options.
Fulgar then revealed that it cost around P50,000 to rent both dresses. She emphasized that she prefers to rent rather than buy a customized one.
“Para sakin kasi hindi ko kailangan ikeep ‘yung wedding dress ko dahil sa sentimental value. Okay, na-saking yung mga picture as a memory sa special day ko,” she said.
(For me, I don’t need to keep my wedding dress because of the sentimental value. I’m okay with the pictures as a memory of my special day.)
Fulgar and Su Hyuk announced their engagement in February.
