Kim Chiu has nothing but gratitude and appreciation for Kris Aquino, saying their friendship has remained “timeless” despite the long while that they had not seen each other.
The “It’s Showtime” host and the Queen of All Media recently bonded with the latter’s son Bimby, actress-TV host Miles Ocampo and TV writer Darla Sauler, as seen on Chiu’s Instagram page on Wednesday, Feb. 26.
“Time may have passed, but some friendships remain timeless. Seeing ate Kris Aquino after so long felt like no time had passed at all,” Chiu said.
“It was so heartwarming to see her smile, even as she continues to regain her strength,” she stated.
Chiu sent her well-wishes to Kris, hoping that the latter will get better soon amid her several autoimmune diseases. Chiu also thanked Kris for the huge toy she gifted her as an early birthday present.
“Thank you for letting us visit, and of course, thank you, Bimb, for taking care of us,” Chiu added. “Thank you so much, ate, for the early birthday gift…and also I am always thankful for you ate for everything. Love you so so so much!”

Prior to this, Chiu and Kris met in 2023 when the former visited the Queen of All Media in California. Kris had stayed in California for over two years while seeking treatments for her autoimmune diseases.
Meanwhile, Kris earlier made her first public appearance in several years after she attended PeopleAsia magazine’s People of the Year 2025. She was at the event to support her close friend, Filipino fashion designer Michael Leyva, who was one of the awardees.
