Baron Geisler declared that all is well after his brief detention in Cebu for alleged drunkenness, with the actor asserting that the “truth” on the matter will come out “very soon.”

Geisler was earlier reported to have been released from a brief detention after allegedly causing disturbance while intoxicated with alcohol in Mandaue City. He then released a statement, saying “misinformation” has been circulating and that “irresponsible journalism has blown things out of proportion.”

The actor spoke up about this on the sidelines of the story conference for his upcoming film “Tag-Ulan,” as per a “Frontline Pilipinas” report on Monday, Feb. 24.

The matter was brought up after entertainment reporter MJ Marfori remarked that Geisler appeared to be sober and not suffering from a “hangover.”

“I’m all well, and don’t believe those lies po,” Geisler said.

“Naaapektuhan ‘yung family ko so hindi ako papayag na gawin sa kahit na kanino ‘to, kasi maling-mali talaga lahat ng lumalabas right now,” he stressed, although he did not immediately state the apparent false claims he was referring to.

The actor further noted that he will seek justice, adding that “the truth will come out naman very, very soon.”

Geisler also thanked those who continuously support him, assuring them that all is good.

Geisler was accompanied by his wife, Jamie Evangelista, during the story conference.
