Baron Geisler was released from detention after he was arrested for alleged public intoxication in Mandaue City.
Geisler was taken into custody by the Canduman Police Station at around 3:50 a.m. on Saturday, February 23, after he was accused of creating a disturbance at Psalm Street, H. Abellana, Barangay Canduman, Mandaue City, while intoxicated with alcohol.
The “Incognito” star was reportedly detained for several hours for allegedly violating Mandaue’s City Ordinance No. 11-2008-434 (drunkenness) or severe intoxication.
He was eventually released from detention on Sunday, February 23, after paying a fine, according to reports from Cebu Daily News and Bombo Radyo Cebu.

Neither Geisler nor his agency ALV Talent Agency have addressed the matter.
The actor, who is currently one of the lead stars of the action drama “Incognito,” has long been hounded by his struggle with alcoholism, with his non-showbiz wife Jamie Evangelista sharing that he’s battling a relapse with alcohol in April 2022.
Six months later, Geisler spoke about his sobriety journey in an interview with the Philippine Daily Inquirer, saying that dealing with his alcoholism has been “overwhelming” at times, but it is also “smooth sailing.”
“It has been smooth most days. Sometimes, when I get overwhelmed by everything, I learn to step back and pause. I can’t be too complacent even if things are going well because that is when the devil (disease of addiction) strikes. I may sound preachy, but I have to say that when I give the Lord my full trust, He strengthens me,” he was quoted as saying. — Hannah Mallorca
