Former Destiny’s Child bandmates Beyonce, Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland treated their fans to a mini-reunion at the latter’s 40th birthday bash.
On Instagram, the “Love on Top” singer gave her 312 million followers a glimpse of their reunion, sharing two group shots where the birthday girl in a halter gown is sandwiched between Beyonce in a vintage minidress and Williams in a red attire.
The carousel of photos also includes a picture of the “Single Ladies” singer hugging Rowland and another image where they sit next to each other at a dinner table and the latter is seen getting emotional.
“Birthday bestie,” Beyonce simply captioned her post.
The trio’s reunion came months after Beyonce and Rowland came to Williams’ Broadway debut in “Death Becomes Her” in November.
Destiny’s Child is one of the most iconic girl groups in music history. Their breakthrough came in 1999 with the album “The Writing’s on the Wall,” which sold millions and won them two Grammys.

Aside from the three ladies, the band originally included LaTavia Roberson, LeToya Luckett and Farrah Franklin.
However, at the height of their success in 2000, Roberson and Luckett accused Mathew Knowles, their manager at the time, of favoritism toward her daughter Beyonce and Rowland, leading to their sudden removal from the group.
The duo were then replaced by Williams and Franklin in the music video for “Say My Name.” However the latter left the group five months later, citing “mistreatment and exhaustion.”
The remaining members Beyonce, Williams and Rowland dominated the 2000s with their album “Survivor” before they took a short hiatus for solo projects.
Beyonce, in particular, skyrocketed to solo stardom with her album “Dangerously in Love.” The three girls reunited in 2004 for their final album, “Destiny Fulfilled,” featuring the songs “Lose My Breath,” “Soldier” and “Cater 2 U.”
In 2005, Destiny’s Child announced their official disbandment to focus on their solo careers. Over the years, the trio engaged in mini–reunions on stage and in private gatherings.
