Did Demi Moore snub Kylie Jenner at Golden Globes?

A video circulating on social media showed the 2025 Golden Globes best actress Demi Moore hobnobbing with fellow actors Elle Fanning and Timothee Chalamet, but seemingly snubbing his girlfriend, Kylie Jenner.
After her impassioned speech upon accepting her best actress award for “The Substance,” Moore can be seen going from table to table of the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles, California, receiving congratulations from her colleagues and friends.
One table she stopped by for a brief chitchat was that of Fanning, who is a family friend, and Chalamet. Sandwiched between them was the “Wonka” actor’s main squeeze, Jenner, who was avidly listening to Moore and Fanning’s animated discussion.
“Congrats,” Jenner squealed her greetings. While the video showed Moore seemingly turning her head against the camera to look at Jenner’s direction, there was a little imperceptible nod of her head in acknowledgement before turning her attention back to Fanning.

Afterwards, Chalamet extended his congratulations and the 62-year-old actress then gave his shoulder a little squeeze as they launched into a conversation.
Article continues after this advertisementSoon after the video clip was posted on social media, the internet went wild with claims that the new Golden Globe winner gave the 26-year-old multimillionaire entrepreneur a cold shoulder.
But Moore’s daughter, Tallulah Willis immediately came to her mother’s defense and set the record straight. On her Instagram Stories, she said: “NIPPING THIS IN THE BUD — we spent new year with Elle (Fanning), so connecting with her after a win was a very organic thing to do. This angel was in total shock and delight and moving throughout a warm room of well-wishers. There was [no] snub of any sort, had she seen KJ wanting to congratulate her she would have fully given her the time and space.”
“Literally, just give it all a break and let a gal enjoy her accomplishments!” Willis further said. Willis is one of Moore’s daughters with ex-husband Bruce Willis.

In her acceptance speech, Moore said she is “humbled and grateful” for the award, her first in her 45-year acting career.
“Thirty years ago, I had a producer tell me that I was a ‘popcorn actress’ and, at that time, I made that mean that this [award] wasn’t something that I was allowed to have. That I could do movies that were successful, that made a lot of money, but that I couldn’t be acknowledged, and I bought in and I believed that. And that corroded me over time, to the point where I thought, a few years ago, that maybe this was it. Maybe I was complete. Maybe I would—I’d done what I was supposed to do. And as I was at kind of a low point, I had this magical, bold, courageous, out-of-the-box, absolutely bonkers script come across my desk called ‘The Substance.’ And the universe told me that you’re not done,” said Moore.
Meanwhile, Jenner began dating Chalamet in January 2023, and their Golden Globes outing seemed to defy recent breakup rumors. The actor was her first serious relationship following her split with rapper Travis Scott, with whom she has two children together.
Forbes listed Jenner as one of the world’s self-made women of 2024, raking in $710 million largely from her cosmetics company. From rank 47, Jenner entered the list behind Beyonce with $760 million (#46), Rihanna with $1.4 billion (#23), her own sister Kim Kardashian with $1.7 billion (#21), and media mogul Oprah Winfrey with $3 billion (#14).
