Dating confirmation? Hugh Jackman, Sutton Foster hold hands in public

Hugh Jackman and Sutton Foster went out in public holding hands, a gesture perceived by many as the pair’s confirmation of their rumored romance.

In the photos obtained by People on Monday, Jan. 6, Jackman and Foster were all smiles as they walked hand in hand to a restaurant in California for a dinner date.

The pair were in their casual attire, with Jackman sporting a gray shirt, white pants and black jacket, and Foster donning a green maxi dress and a tan trench coat.

Prior to their dinner date, Jackman was also seen expressing his support for Foster by attending her “Once upon a Mattress” musical in Los Angeles.

While Jackman and Foster have yet to publicly speak about their relationship status, their apparent outing came after their separation from their respective partners.

Jackman and his wife of 27 years, Australian actress-producer Deborra Lee-Furness, announced their breakup in 2023, saying they had “decided to separate to pursue [their] individual growth.” The former couple shares two kids named Ava and Oscar.

In 2024, Foster filed for divorce from screenwriter Ted Griffin, with whom she had been married for 10 years. The pair has a daughter named Emily, whom they adopted in 2017.

Jackman and Foster starred together in the revival of the classic musical “The Music Man,” playing the respective roles of Professor Harold Hill and Marian Paroo.
