V of K-pop supergroup BTS achieved another feat after his track “Winter Ahead” ranked No. 1 on the Billboard Holiday Digital Song Sales chart, replacing Mariah Carey’s all time holiday hit “All I Want for Christmas Is You.”

V’s latest solo single, which also features South Korean ballad singer Park Hyo-shin, held the top position of the chart, as per a list released by Billboard. Carey’s track, which tops several other charts, reigned in the second spot.

Notably, “Winter Ahead” is V’s fifth solo entry on the Hot 100 chart, following “Christmas Tree,” “Slow Dancing,” “Love Me Again” and “Fri(end)s.”

Last November, V released “Winter Ahead,” which reflects the Korean artist’s deep love for jazz music.

Speaking about their collaboration, Park said, “V and I have always talked about working together on something fun, especially in jazz, which we both love.”

“When the opportunity finally came to collaborate, we both felt that it would be a fascinating project. I’m so happy that we can finally share our work with listeners this winter,” he added.
