Pia Wurtzbach urged netizens to stop sending “abusive messages” to fashion platform stylenotcom, weeks after being accused of allegedly stealing content from the latter after her absence in a New York Fashion Week (NYFW) show.

On Sept. 13, Wurtzbach caught the attention of netizens after posting a video from a Carolina Herrera show at NYFW. It turned out the video was apparently owned by stylenotcom and was posted three days prior.

Stylenotcom is created and managed by Georgian fashion editor Beka Gvishiani, who made known in the industry his erudite thoughts on fashion with his signature white text on blue background.

The issue on Wurtzbach’s alleged purloining of stylenotcom’s video eventually led to her reposting the entire video, but this time, tagging the fashion platform in the caption. She also clarified that she, too, was invited to the luxury brand’s show but missed it due to traffic.

Weeks after the incident, Wurtzbach warned netizens to stop “harassing” the fashion platform with “abusive messages” on her Instagram Story on Sunday, October 6.

“It has come to my attention that some netizens are harassing @stylenotcom with abusive messages. I urge you to stop this behavior. Beka and I are on good terms and have no issues whatsoever,” she said, seemingly referring to the owner of the platform.

The former beauty queen also reminded them to instead dedicate their time to “something more positive and meaningful.”

“Please consider using your time and platform for something more positive and meaningful. Let’s work together to keep social media fun, collaborative, and respectful,” she wrote.

Stylenotcom has yet to address the incident, as of press time. However, it piqued the interest of netizens after making a cryptic remark about “inserting a photo from a front row show” on Instagram on Thursday, October 3.

“Insert a photo of your fashion show seat with your name on (but, only if you are in the front row). Can’t insert a photo from the row show because you don’t have it. Insert anything that is very demure and very mindful,” its post read.

The post caught the attention of Heart Evangelista, who found it to be amusing in the comments. Incidentally, Evangelista has been reportedly waging a cold war with Wurtzbach on social media, especially after the beauty queen took under her employ the former’s glam team.

The wife of Senator Chiz Escudero had also been sharing on her social media platforms that her contacts had been stolen by some trusted people in order to derail her in the world fashion scene.

The recent editions of Fashion Week have been busy for Wurtzbach. She was named the top global celebrity for NYFW’s Spring/Summer 2025 after generating $61.8 million in Media Impact Value (MIV), per data from brand performance platform Launchmetrics.
