Pia Wurtzbach breaks silence after alleged fake attendance at NYFW show
Pia Wurtzbach shared that she indeed missed one show in New York Fashion Week (NYFW) after netizens accused her of “faking” her attendance at the said show.
The Miss Universe 2015 took to Instagram to share behind-the-scenes photos of her trip to NYFW, including invitations she got to attend some shows.
In the post, she explained that she missed the Carolina Herrera show due to traffic and decided to “make up” to their team by reposting their content, which was the post that went viral.
“Felt so bad to have missed the Carolina Herrera show by a few minutes. Decided to shoot the looks they sent and repost the curtain call to make it up to them. Expect more CH content coming through!” she wrote in part of her caption.

On Sept. 13, Wurtzbach posted a video from the runaway of the said show after netizens pointed out that the video was already posted on the stylenotcom Instagram page three days prior, accusing the beauty queen of “stealing” content.

Wurtzbach also posted a new video revealing the shows she attended as well as that one show she missed due to traffic. She was captured sitting in her car outside the venue, uttering to the camera, “We missed it.”
The 34-year-old actress-beauty queen was recently honored as the Global Fashion Influencer of the Year at the fourth edition of the EMIGALA Fashion & Beauty Awards in Dubai.
Despite being a first-time attendee at the Milan and Paris Fashion Weeks in 2023, Wurtzbach secured the sixth spot in the list of “most visible influencers” by Lefty.io, an influencer marketing platform.
