‘Call Me Maybe’ singer Carly Rae Jepsen now engaged to boyfriend Cole
Canadian singer Carly Rae Jepsen must have thrown a wish in the well after she announced her engagement to Grammy-winning producer Cole Marsden Greif-Neill, aka Cole M.G.N., after two years of dating.
Jepsen shared the news on Instagram with a straight-up caption, “Very engaged over here.” The post also featured an image of the couple locking lips as well as a photo of the singer flashing her new ring for the camera.
Fellow celebrities, including American dancer-actress Julianne Hough and singer-songwriter Bonnie McKee, among others, extended their congratulations to the couple.
The engagement news comes two years after the pair went Instagram official with their romance. At the time, the “Rare” singer gave her man a special shoutout on her 37th birthday.
“And to my man Cole,” she wrote in part. “I wished for lots of secret things but also and most importantly, just more birthdays with you.”

The two met while Jepsen was working on the track “So Right,” which was co-written and produced by M.G.N.
In an interview with People Magazine last year, Jepsen “thanked” her management for bringing her and her husband-to-be together for a work project that turned into a love story.
The 38-year-old Canadian pop star previously dated fellow musician Matthew Koma, who’s now married to actress Hilary Duff.
Meanwhile, in 2013, Jepsen had her first ever concert in the Philippines. Six years later, the “Emotion” singer returned to the country to stage another solo performance.
Despite releasing other hits, her “Call Me Maybe” was the one that launched her music career. First released in 2011, the song became the best-selling digital single at the time, becoming one of the defining pop songs of the 2010s worldwide.
In March 2012, the song debuted on the Billboard Hot 100, where it peaked at No. 1 for nine consecutive weeks, spending 50 weeks on the chart. The track brought Jepsen two Grammy nominations: song of the year and best pop solo performance.
