K-pop powerhouse Blackpink is planning to meet fans in 2025 as they’re set to return as a full group and go on a world tour, according to YG Entertainment.
The music label confirmed the quartet’s comeback to Korean media outlet Tenasia on Tuesday, Sept. 24. However, further details are yet to be announced.
“Blackpink plans to meet fans in 2025 with a full group comeback and a world tour,” it said.
The female quartet’s second studio album “Born Pink,” released in September 2022, is the group’s recent record. It contains the songs “Pink Venom,” “Shut Down,” and “Typa Girl,” to name a few.
Blackpink embarked on their “Born Pink” world tour from October 2022 to September 2023. One of its stops included Bulacan in the Philippines, which was held at the Philippine Arena in March 2023.
The girl group debuted in August 2016, and is composed of Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa. They resigned with YG for group activities in December 2023.
Despite this, Jisoo (Blissoo), Jennie (Oddatelier), and Lisa (LLOUD Co.) opted to put up their own labels to manage their solo activities.
Rosé, on the other hand, is signed with The Black Label to manage her career as a solo artist.
