LOOK: Photo of Kathryn Bernardo, Nadine Lustre together goes viral
Kathryn Bernardo and Nadine Lustre delighted their supporters with a rare sighting of them posing for a photo at a private party on Wednesday, Sept. 4.
The now viral photo highlighted the beauty of the two actresses smiling for the cameras with their arms wrapped around each other’s waists.
In a separate video, Lustre is also seen fixing Bernardo’s hair as they pose for another round of photo taking.
Despite being on the same network for years, Bernardo and Lustre were seen interacting only on a few occasions including when they recorded ABS-CBN’s station ID back in 2015.
Their recent interaction was made more memorable after they officially followed each other on Instagram, after their photo trended online.

Lustre, on the other hand, was in a reel and real-life relationship with James Reid for four years before announcing their breakup in 2020.
In 2015, Bernardo admitted that there was “awkwardness” between her and Lustre given how the people online tried to pit them against each other.
“Siguro mayro’n kaming awkwardness ngayon dalawa kasi of course the social media, the Twitter, the Instagram, parang nauunahan ng lahat ng tao bago pa kami mag-meet, ‘di ba?” she said in an interview with The Buzz at the time.
Over the years, fans have been campaigning for the two ladies to star in the same project. In February, director Sigrid Bernardo expressed her desire to direct Bernardo and Lustre for the remake of “T-bird at Ako,” which originally starred Star for All Seasons Vilma Santos and Superstar Nora Aunor.
At the time, Santos expressed her approval of the casting, saying it’s a “good pair” because they are both great actresses.
Lustre also shared her reaction about the possibility of her and Bernardo working together.
“I guess magiging challenging lang niyan for me is the level of comfortability, but ako naman, I’m always game for challenges, so tignan natin,” she told INQUIRER.net when asked about the “T-bird at Ako” remake in January.
