Nadine Lustre on working with Maris Racal, Kathryn Bernardo in GL movie: ‘Game’

Nadine Lustre shared her thoughts on working with Maris Racal and Kathryn Bernardo for a girl love movie, saying she’s “game” because she loves collaborating with different people and likes working on a new challenge.
At a skin care event on Friday, Jan. 12, Lustre noted that she would be down to doing the said movie if it involved a good script.
“Nice, okay. Let’s see. I don’t know if I’m ready for a movie like that. Ako naman, I’m always leaning towards a good script. If it is always a good script, down naman ako to do it,” she said to INQUIRER.net.
The actress also expressed her flattery and excitement, knowing that Racal said in one of her recent interviews that she wanted to star in a project with Lustre and Barbie Forteza.
“Yeah, let’s see ako game ako. I’m very collaborative, and I love working with different people. Sobrang excited. I just love when a lot of people kind of want to work with me. I’m looking forward to that,” she affirmed.
The “Talk Back and You’re Dead” actress also shared her comments upon knowing that “Star for All Seasons” Vilma Santos approves of her and Bernardo starring in a remake movie of “T-Bird,” which originally starred Santos and superstar Nora Aunor.
“For me, para lang marecognize ni Ate Vi as someone who’s very talented with regards to acting nakakatuwa na marinig, I don’t know, let’s see. Like, why not? I’m open to any projects naman,” she said.
Lustre emphasized that once she took up the role for the girl love movie, it would be a challenge for her as there’s a level of intimacy they need to establish.
“It’s very challenging because of all the movies, especially when you’re uncomfortable with that kind of intimacy,” said the actress.
“Like kapag kahit kayo kayo na nga lang medyo nakakailang, ‘cause I had an experience before na may ganyan, that’s why I know that I’m really straight kasi nakaexperience ako ng ganyan,” added Lustre.
Despite the challenge, the award-winning actress noted that she’s in if ever the project comes her way.
“I guess magiging challenging lang niyan for me is the level of comfortability, but ako naman, I’m always game for challenges, so tignan natin,” she said.
